Commercial Administrative Assistant

The Commercial Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of a fast-paced commercial organization. They will support key personnel VP, Head of Commercial, VP, Marketing, Director, Marketing & Associate Director, Patient Services through a variety of tasks and ensure that all administration tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. This position reports to the VP, Head of Commercial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily commercial team operations
  • Support marketing initiatives:
    • Coordinate the weekly launch playbook activities with cross functional colleagues
    • Support the coordination of key events such as live meetings, speaker programs, ad boards and congresses, as needed
    • Management of all purchasing and contracting of services for the Commercial team (MSA’s, SOW and accrual tracking)
  • Support human resource initiatives, including:
    • Coordinating on-boarding of commercial employees
    • Other new employee support as requested by human resources
  • Coordinate meeting logistics
  • Assist and support in ad hoc projects
  • Provide support to all visitors
  • Develop and maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems for Commercial team
  • Maintain Commercial-related contact lists

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of three years of administrative experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Effective skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
